If our church is to be the “light of the world,” we must act as a powerful and loving presence in our local community. Westside is reigniting our passion to help those in our city who are trapped in spiritual and physical poverty.
Westside’s Community Impact efforts leverage significant partnerships in downtown Kansas City, KS, including Urban Scholastic Center, Hillcrest Transitional Housing, Mission Adelante and other partners. In 2010, Westside’s new Mission House in KCK will serve as our mission training base to engage young adults and catalyze our presence in our city. Westside also teams up to support KCKBA cooperative local missions efforts.
