Rob served as a teaching pastor at Granger Community Church for 21 years, calling the people of God to get out of their seat and into the Story. Under his leadership, Granger has seen thousands move out into mission, culminating in redemptive movements locally and globally. These ventures include local expressions like Monroe Circle Community Center, a hub for neighborhood renewal in the inner city of South Bend, IN. And a movement of over 1000 reproducing churches in India with over 140,000 reached people.
Rob has worked alongside Alan Hirsch in Future Travelers, which has served more than 250, some of which are among the most influential churches in America. His first book, Share the Well, which he co-wrote with his wife, Michelle, is an eyes-wide-open experience through visually stunning photos and captivating stories of the holistic church planting movement they helped birth in India. His second book, Missional Moves, co-written with Jack Magruder, is a part of Zondervan’s Exponential Series.
Currently, Rob lives in Kansas City and is on the elder team of Westside Family Church. He is advancing the Jesus movement both locally and internationally through the development of training pathways to equip people to live as missionaries where they live, work, and play, and develop simple churches in those settings. Rob and Michelle have three amazing young ladies – Madeline, Whitney and Belle.
