Westside Family,

We’d like to update you as we navigate the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community.

In order to protect our church and community and honor the recommendations of our community leaders, we are choosing to adapt how we gather this weekend, March 15.

Our services will be held online only, we will not gather at our church locations.

Service times will remain the same at 8:15, 9:30, 11a and 5p. We believe we can continue to learn and grow together as a church by worshipping together in our homes with friends and family. And you can still invite your friends!

For Families with Kids + Students

Please know that your families will continue to be in our prayers as we navigate this season together. Our hope is to keep your kids and Students engaged by providing Sunday morning resources just for them at westsidefamily.church/updates.

Mid-Week Programs

On-site groups and meetings are encouraged to gather as normal—with safe hygiene practices. We will evaluate this decision week-to-week. Check westsidefamily.church/updates for ongoing updates.

Opportunities to Serve & Give

While the impacts of the coronavirus mean some changes to our gathering, the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of people have not been put on hold and we must continue to care for those around us.

  • Pray— for those most vulnerable, for those on the frontline of healthcare and for our leaders to make good decisions.

  • Minister— Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly, widows and those most vulnerable around us.

  • Give— Even though we’re not gathering in-person for church, you still have the opportunity to make a difference in the kingdom by giving your planned tithes and offerings or set up auto-giving through our giving page.

Final Thoughts

Let's not forget Romans chapter 8—it says, because of Jesus, we are no longer a slave to fear. Church, do not be afraid—Jesus has got you. Jesus has got you. This is an opportunity to be Jesus to the people around us.

In Christ, your Westside Family Church pastors.
